School organized a pottery clay activity on 17-04-2024, Tuesday, in school premises for the development of eye and hand coordination to guide them to open up the wings of their imaginations. Every student found the activity to be enjoyable.This activity provided students with knowledge about the history of ceramics, its cultural influences, and the earthly origins of clay as a natural resource. The students became aware of the process of pottery making by thoughtfully designing a clay pot using tactile skills. They also became aware of the different design elements that are used in making pottery (such as shape, color, texture, etc. The students demonstrated their understanding of pottery by producing a functional piece of artwork.
