If you are choosing a school in East Delhi, the daily journey matters as much as the classroom. Here is what Mayo International School's own route list says about its buses.

The buses serve these neighbourhoods in East Delhi: East Vinod Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Madhu Vihar, Mayur Vihar, Pandav Nagar, Patparganj, Shakarpur and Trilokpuri. Across the border in Ghaziabad they serve Indirapuram, Kaushambi, Vaishali and Vasundhara.

Each area has its own page on the website listing every stop with its morning pickup and afternoon drop time, so you can see exactly where your child would board and when.

The published monthly bus fee ranges from ₹2,100 to ₹3,000, depending on the route and how far the stop is from school. The area page shows the fee for each route.

Which neighbourhoods in East Delhi and Ghaziabad the Mayo buses serve, what a seat costs and how the buses are run.

The school runs its own bus fleet, with female helpers, GPS tracking, dashcams and emergency contact support at all times.

You can apply for a seat on the bus online from the transport page. The transport desk confirms your stop and timing when the seat is given, because times can change at the start of a term.

If your neighbourhood is not on the list, tell the admissions office where you live. Requests for new stops help the school plan its routes.
