Why choose a school with a good digital system

Author
· 15 OCTOBER 2026

A school's digital system is more than smart boards. It is how lessons are taught, how parents hear from the school, and how safely your family's records are kept.

What to look for: - Classrooms where technology supports teaching, not replaces it. - An online admission form and parent portal, so you can apply, upload documents and track progress from your phone. - Clear messages from the school instead of scattered phone calls. - Care with your child's data: private documents, and no sharing with outside companies.

What a school's technology means for your child and for you.

Questions to ask on a visit: How is technology used in class? How will I hear about my child's progress? Who can see my child's documents?

At Mayo, parents apply online and follow each step in the parent portal.
