Question types

Board papers mix multiple-choice, short and long answers, case-based and source-based questions. Competency-based questions test applying a concept, not recalling it — practise them with CBSE's sample papers.

Standard or Basic maths?

Take Standard if there is any chance of choosing maths in Class XI. Basic suits students sure they will not.

Questions parents ask

What is the difference between Maths Standard and Basic?

Same syllabus, different difficulty in the board paper. Students who want maths in Class XI need Standard.
