Balancing school and JEE / NEET preparation

One plan for boards and entrance, a weekly routine that works, and no dummy school.

IN SHORT

Treat the boards and the entrance exam as one syllabus taught at two depths, not two separate jobs. Attend school, study each topic once deeply, practise entrance-level problems on it the same week, and protect seven to eight hours of sleep. A school integrated programme does this inside the school day; a dummy school puts the board exam — and your future options — at risk.

Why not a dummy school

CBSE requires 75% attendance to sit the board exams and has acted against schools running dummy admissions. Board marks still matter for colleges, and for the Delhi quota what counts is passing from a school in Delhi. Mayo does not offer or support dummy admission.

How Mayo helps

Preparation with Physics Wallah and VMC happens inside the school timetable, not in a coaching centre after school.

Questions parents ask

How can I manage school and JEE or NEET preparation together?

Study each topic once deeply for both the boards and the entrance, practise entrance-level problems the same week, take a weekly mock test and protect your sleep. A school integrated programme builds this into the school day.

Should I join a dummy school for JEE or NEET?

No. CBSE requires 75% attendance for the board exams and has acted against dummy schools; a school integrated programme gives the same preparation while attending school.
