JEE Main's first session is usually in January and NEET UG in early May, in the year a student finishes Class XII. Students who start in Class XI have about 90 weeks — enough to finish the syllabus, revise twice and take a season of mock tests.

Your JEE Main is likely in January 2028 — about 66 weeks away. Check the official notice for the exact date.

  1. Until 24 July 2027: Finish the syllabus: two chapters a week, NCERT first, then exam-level questions, with a weekly test.
  2. Until 13 November 2027: Revision rounds of Class XI and XII, chapter tests and previous years' papers.
  3. Until 22 January 2028: Full-length mock tests two or three times a week, in exam timings, and an error log reviewed after each.
