Coping with exam results

What to say, what to do next, and where to get help — for students and parents.

IN SHORT

One result is one step, not a verdict. After disappointing marks, give it a day, then look at options together: re-evaluation, the supplementary exam, a different course or another attempt. If a student seems hopeless or withdrawn, talk to them, the school counsellor, or the government's Tele-MANAS helpline (14416).
