JEE Main 1970: dates and timeline

The usual JEE Main calendar, from registration to JEE Advanced, and where the official dates are published.

IN SHORT

JEE Main is held by the National Testing Agency in two sessions: usually late January and early April. Registration for the first session usually opens in October or November. For 1970, check jeemain.nta.nic.in for the exact dates.

Balancing JEE and the boards

Session 1 falls just before the CBSE practicals and board exams. Students who finish the syllabus by December can sit session 1, then focus on the boards and return to JEE for session 2.

Preparation with Physics Wallah and VMC happens inside the school timetable, not in a coaching centre after school.
