What Kreedo is

Kreedo is an early-years curriculum partner for schools, built on activity-based and research-based learning. It gives a school a planned sequence of activities and learning materials, and an app that helps teachers deliver it.

Instead of tracing worksheets, a child meets an idea with their hands first — counting real objects, sorting, building, matching sounds to pictures — and the teacher names what happened.

Play-way, Montessori and activity-based

Play-way schools teach through games and songs; Montessori classrooms let children choose self-correcting materials and work at their own pace; activity-based programmes plan each step of hands-on learning against goals for the year.

All three keep young children away from rote writing. What matters more than the label is whether a child spends the day doing, talking and playing rather than copying.
