A day in kindergarten at Mayo

What your child actually does in Nursery, LKG and UKG — the Kreedo way.

IN SHORT

Kindergarten at Mayo (Nursery, LKG and UKG) is taught through the Kreedo early-years programme: children learn with activity materials, not heavy textbooks. On Bagless Days children bring only their lunch box and creative materials — no heavy bags. Kreedo is used up to Class I and is being extended to more classes.

Learning with materials, not just books

In the Kreedo programme, children work with hands-on activity materials that build early reading, writing and number skills step by step. Teachers guide small groups, so each child moves at their own pace.

The aim in these years is simple: children who enjoy coming to school and are ready for Class 1.

Bagless Days

On Bagless Days, children leave their heavy bags and textbooks at home. They bring only their lunch box and creative materials, and the day is built around activities, art and play.

Beyond the classroom

As children grow, they can join the school's academies — from skating, chess and karate to classical dance and Vedic maths — and take part in school events through the year.

At Mayo

Nursery admission for 2027-28 is open until 15 December 2026 (60 seats this round).
